Cakins...Shut Up!!! Nobody likes you. Just go pee in a corner. Anyway, He does have a point with your only blue card being ardent plea, it's not a bad card, but a horrible reason for running blue if its alone. Maybe add in Kitesail Apprentice and Behemoth Sledge because you can just put those into play with the Stoneforge Mystic. Also, if you wanted the Exalted, you can run Qasali Pridemage for that and removal. Plus then you can actually splash green and hard-cast the Sledge if you need to. Definetly add in some more Stoneforge Mystics. Have fun, and remember to never listen to what Cakins says.
To the both of you, the blue is in there for Mirror-Sigil Sergeant. I'm not sure how good of a combo it would end up being, but it's definitely something interesting. But actually, why not Sejiri Merfolk? It's a soldier, and if you have a plains it's first strike and lifelink. For that matter, deft duelist is pretty good too.
