So a friend and I got to talking about constructing an alternative minotaur deck. After a recent FNM I went to, I played against a deck that produced some very interesting combos. So I decided to apply what I learned to this one. Boros Reckoner hexproof and unblockable?... yes please.
So there are several combos that show up throughout this deck. Here's just a few.Turn 1: manaTurn 2: Burning-tree Emissary + Alpha AuthorityTurn 3: Madcap Skills= 4/4 creature which is unblockable and hexproofTurn 4 you plop out a Door of Destinies and call the creature of your choice or cast a Master Biomancer. Turn 5 cast a Boros Reckoner with Madcap which gives you a 7/7 hexproof, unblockable, and an optional First Strike.After turn 5 things open up even more with Prophet of Kruphix, Rageblood Shaman, and of course Fanatic of Mogis. Drop a Clone in and copy the card of your choice and make things very interesting. Say you have some good devotion on the board and you play a Fanatic of Mogis.
