This is a wither deck utilizing multiple combos. The most important card in this deck is Everlasting Torment. A 3 casting cost that gets around protection and lifegain decks. It also changes all damage into wither. When this is combined with Melira your creatures have protection from damage. One of the other combos are Necroskitter and Black Sun's Zenith. This cpombo allows you to wipe the board and reclaim your opponent's creatures under your control. Cauldron of Souls and Asceticism are in the deck for protection of Melira and Necroskitter until the combos are out. Midnight Banshee and Oona's Prowler are in for flying defense. discard, and automatic counters placed out. Noxious Hatchling is a big nasty for 4 mana and Grim Affliction is in to proliferate the -1,-1 counters.

I thought about it, but to me it's too slow. I mean it gives 1 creature 1 counter per turn whereas Grim Affliction and Black Sun's Zenith affect the board.
