Yes, I'm still experimenting on this one. The latest version maximises mana-production and the number of exalted triggers. Thanks to ten manadorks, four cobras (& twelve fetchlands) and four ardent pleas that always get you one of the aforementioned cards, it is almost always possible to generate five mana on round three (Finest Hour or Angel or Rafiq) and six mana by round four (Sovereigns or Finest Hour or Angel or Rafiq), which means you get to attack deadly on round 4 in most cases- possibly with a Birds of Paradise doing 48 damage... Well, I love it! The deck is now complete.
After intensive playtesting I'm happy with my selection of cards - except for the manabase. If possible, I would like to have enough mana of all three colours plus some horizon canopies to draw cards when I have too many lands, plus some Eiganjo castles to protect Rafiq and Geist, plus some Treetop villages to be able to attack after the board has been wiped and to generate another creature for the Angels exalted count... And all of that without spending anything or too much on double lands like Savannah. I guess that's asking a bit much. What would you guys and girls out there do about lands in this deck?
I took out the Finest Hour to make the most out of Sublime Angel. Not sure whether it was right as I now have a blank at mana cost 5.
I haven't bought all of the cards yet. Still saving up. I think 10 Manadorks and four Cobras should be enough for a speedy start. I'm also happy with the four Spriggans (who are just crazy with Finest Hour) and four Geist, who work especially well with the Sublime Archangel. Still fiddling around with the mana base and the exact number of Archangels, Rafiqs and Finest Hours. I would appreciate any comment.
