<_< Ah, so there lies the problem...
i like the op nature of the metal craft. attacking turn 5 with a possible 8/8 with trample is always a plus. however, it feels like the reliance is heavy upon ezuri's brigade and carapace forger. 8 cards to carry the deck in hit power is a little sketch and unreliable. over all, great mechanics though
etched champion brings plenty to the table when it comes to hitting power. in fact, i've won with every creature in this deck except for llanowar elves. :) thank you for the comment though, i am glad you like it. :)

lol welcome. that aint a surprise, the local net we had would constantly give us trouble too. but hopefuly u aint gotta worry about it now.
well as i understand it, the technician found a crispy fried squirrel with its mouth between two frayed ends of a wire. apparently the current was still going through the squirrel, so that was why it was really terrible internet, but it never actually shut down. :|

I actually like this :) Looks almost like a Standard attempt making something similar in "ouch-ness" to Legacy's dreaded Affinity. I don't have the cards for this, but if i did, I'd run it for FNM :p

hey Wump, I love your deck! I've been looking for standard legal Stompy, and you sir have achieved that goal. I played stompy in the Zendikar block, and i know for a fact that 5 mana producers should be the max. Id also suggest looking into triumph of the hordes or overrun.

This deck is sick. What's your plan against Day of Judgment and the like?
well there are two things to do against day of judgment with this deck and similar stompy decks. for one, i can usually dish out enough damage before the opponent can cast it that it will not matter in the long run. second, i have fresh meat in the sideboard, which can often be a nasty surprise. :)

So with Etched Champion, you don't try to pump it (unless you have pest) do you?
I think a sneaky thing you could do is pump it before playing a third artifact, thus getting around the protection, but otherwise it's pretty counter-intuitive to waste pumps on him =/
i cant get a sample hand that gets enough artifacts and it seems to fall apart without its metalcraft could be interesting in modern with the artifact lands

the sample hand generator is pretty inaccurate to be honest. :| this deck has 20 artifacts, or one third of the deck in total. in practice, it will almost always have enough artifacts to work. it is true however that metal stomp works much better in legacy with all the other artifacts available, most notably the artifact lands. :)
And people wonder why I say in standard the most enjoyable thing is one of my least favourite colours. It's brutals for the format, and it looks FUN.
Which color do you dislike more, Red or Green? =P
Red, since I always want Bolt and Grim if I play it as a splash even. Green is mostly just for 'goyf in a splash. I've been working on computers nonstop, so sorry I haven't been able to respond quicker.
u should splash white for the angel that gives ur artifacts shroud. its too good for ur deck. i like it tho as is. check out my wolfs and let me know what ya think
