i use the elixirs to re-occur my spells i like to remove a good card with castigate and pull it from eternity then pay two or a b and remove all of that chosen card you have in the deck.... i think its a good response too getting rid of 4 liliana of the veil on turn 3 ...... also the elixirs insure some life gain to make the divinity of pride the big 8/8 which is a game sealer when your opponent has no cards left but lands and crap spells... and having 4 will make sure i get my life above 25 , also if someone decides to surgical axtract me i will use an elixir in instant speed and will be left with no grave yard.
i suggest looking up death and taxes, it a legacy build that is nits that is exiling multiple permanents,
