Standard Pauper, this month i have a pauper tourney coming up and i was making a deck with combo's it just so happen to be standard.. i have faced real decks that run a lot of rares and removal. but this has kept up and locked down decks like Ally's and Soul Sisters as well as Delver and Reanimate decks its very fast pace and the combos with Nightshade Peddler have kept agro decks at bay. i use all the first strike with burn spells to do away with any threats that they dont attack with or put in the way of my death touchers.. also a way to get around opposing firststrike is to soulbond Ashmouth Hound with Nightshade Peddler. the combo goes before combat damage and can remove anything in combat with Ashmouth Hound.
Hanweir Lancer and Nightshade Peddler will lock down the Ground Game . also for air battles just use Voiceless Spirit with Peddler. although usually the Spirit is good enough to just lock out the air battles by its self .Hanweir allows me to get a good grip to were all i need to do is pretend to chump block and then either cloudshift a peddler on him or use my burn to finish anything off after firststrike occurs .
