My idea was a proactive control deck, i wanted as few creatures as possible to blank my opponents removal game 1. I also feel like Ashiok is under utilized and is more powerful then people give it credit for. Running light on creatures lets me run Damnations main board and mainly punish my opponents.I think the deck and board have good matches against aggro decks due to the walkers and the removal, my real concern may be Tron and Eldrazi. I am hoping to see fewer of those now that Eye has been banned.
Early game in true Grixis faction remove everything and strip your opponents hand, if you get a chance early to land young Pyro that's amazing and will let you benefit for the rest of the game. If your not then wipe the board with your Damnation to protect your walkers and then land your pyro or Tasigur and just beat down.My only concern right now is "do i have enough card advantage?"
