Deck Description

First, I would like to thank you all for your support on my deck and with placing my deck on the front page.

Never give your oppenents the chance to do ANYTHING! Planning on takin this deck to my next local FNM to see how it fairs. Comments/Suggestions are ALWAYS welcome and wanted. ENJOY!

Edit: update to m13 including plucking galvanoths for talrands (great replacment btw) and a 64 card deck being acceptable due to the fact that 8 cards are in there only to allow me to stack my deck, and because evolving wilds are out and then gone.
Results for FNM tourny:
U/W blink: 2-0
U/G unblockable ifnect: 0-2
W/G/B Tokens: 2-1
U/R Artifacts: 2-1
and with dual casting the increasing vengeance flashback, its FOUR copies of a spell! i pulled 5 xtra turns from 1 temporal and another 2 from hardcasting a second! SEVEN TURNS FTW!

Deck discussion for R/U Miracle Delver Deck

I called Wizrds to make sure that things work the way i had hoped they would, and if you have no cards in hand and you use the draw one discard one, the miracle happens in between the draw and discard so even with that you can still miracle on your oppents turn and they happen regardless of bein a sorcery or not YAY FOR EXTRA TURNS! especially on your opponents turn lmao

Needs the 4th Delver of secrets. I'd make room for 4 mana leaks as well. Mana leaks are pretty strong in standard.

I've thought about the mana leaks, however, there just isnt really enough room. the stall would be nice but between the devils and the delvers i have the ability to stay alive long enough to niracle my turns/win dmg

Nice build great way to abuse Galvanoth.
Put some protection in sideboard for Galvanoth to give it hexproof or to bounce back into hand.

I have the miracle bounce for that, miracle happens at instant speed regardless of it bein a sorcery. hence why i can miracle on an opponents turn, ponder for the setup and a card draw in response to them killin it.

Wonderful deck m8, well done!

I don't quite understand the Captain of the Mist though, what is it that you want to untap? I think I'd change that for 2 Elgaud Shieldmate's to protect your galvs and delvers.

no the cpts are to untap whichever creature has dual castin, cheap untap n cheap replicate for even more xtra turns/dmg. thought bout the shieldmages to go with em to protect the dual casting but its just too many creatures

I really like your idea - especially your galvanoth tech :)

Does your mana base work? 20 lands seems a bit to little, especially with evolving wilds.
I don't know what your experience with Thunderous wrath is, but i've tested it alot, and find it a bit clumpsy. And i can't help but thinking that this deck either wants to go really tempo, or more combo controllish. But hey, if it can both consistently, you made a pretty fun deck :)

And this kind of deck really wants some Snapcaster magic - thunderous on the top - noxiuos revial, thunderous on the top again - snapcaster into noxious revival, thunderous on the top again again. :)


And i agree on not making room for mana leaks - in this kind of deck you are more insterested in setting up your own game than interupting your opponents - but i think you should consider vapor snag. Its cheap and can really buy you some valuable time.

And what about merfolk looter instead of apprentice?
And i think you should find the room for the fourth delver - maybe instead of a devil?

Trade 2 Galvanoth for your 2 Mana Leaks

Thats just some of my ideas, I would put a lot more control/mid-game advantage in you sideboard.
Also, just personal preference, Vexing Devil doesn't belong in a delver deck. There is a lot of better stuff that will benefit you in the end, than basically a 4 damage burn spell. I also don't see the need for 3 Desolate Lighthouse and Sulfur Falls.

the sulfur falls is a requirement for any red/blue deck... period, and the lighthouses are great because due to the way miracle works, even if you're top decking and you have no cards in hand, if you use the draw one discard one and its a miracle, you miracle THEN discard, so no cards in hand means no discard, the vexing devils are going to be pulled when m13 comes out for some token spells, and the galvanoths will be plucked for the new blue instant/sorcery guy. thanks for the input!

I still think you should take Alchemist Apprentice out, to add more draw spells, making it easier to see Insectile Aberration. Also, is Increasing Vengeance something that is used just for copying Thunderous Wrath. I would trade Increasing Vengeance for Reverberate. Another thing I noticed is that you are running 4 Vexers and only 3 Delvers. If you're dying to have the effects of Desolate Lighthouse, why don't you take the Alchemist apprentice out, to add Civilized Scholar? Then trade the Lighthouse out for some basic land, this will also make it almost necessary to remove the Evolving Wilds for added basic land.

i think you should take out captain of the mists and add 2 more Noxious Revival, they really help with the miracle im not sure what captain of the mists goes with the theme though its good

the cpts are there to be able to untap whatever creature happens to have dual casting on it, the untap price is jsut so cheap, and the increasing vengeance is in there to be able to dual cast the flashback which ends up being 4 xtra copies. (called wizards to check it) and with the captains it jsut gets rediculous.

There is one thing you are wrong about, if you cast increasing vengeance from the graveyard, and then copy it with dual casting, you will only have the original spell, and three copies. Two from the vengeance, and one copy from dual casting. Increasing vengeance states that two copies are made if it is "cast" from a graveyard. Since dual casting only copies the spell, it won't create a second copy.

sorry befos, but your wrong, i call wizards 24/7 line on a regular basis to check rulings and now via two different people from wizards a copied flashback is another flashback, thanks for the concern though.

I'm not wrong, and the people at wizards can be wrong. Simply read the cards. Increasing states that if the spell was "cast" from a graveyard, effect happens. If you copy the spell, the text will be copied, but you can't copy where a spell came from. Since the copy was not "cast" from a graveyard, effect will not happen.

I dont see how this would let you keep taking extra turns, on a card that states take an extra turn after this one shouldn't you only be allowed to take 1 extra turn no matter how many times its duplicated since your playing them all on the same turn. They should cancel each other out or something
I don't really know how it works tho

It simply stacks up. You can copy and take extra turns. Think about laying out a turn order, and for each copy, inserting a turn before all others.

You need to add more draw and scry. The practical effect of this deck is you end up asking around turn 4 if you are ever going to get the cards you need. Scry is going to be a must-have.

I understand why you keep Alchemist's Apprentice, after all you need creatures to enchant with the Dual casting and is a human so untaps the Cap.
Following that line Azure Mage could be a replacement that doesn't need to be sac to draw a card.

Vexing devil is really aggressive and really good for an aggro deck, I don't know how it works for you in this deck but I would rather have more burn spells and the 4th delver instead.

Do you see losing Galvanoth and Noxious Revival once they're subbed out in Oct. as a problem for your deck? Obviously we don't know what Ravinca will bring, but I doubt it will be cards with similar abilities to those. What would you sub in if those cards if they weren't (hypothetically) available.

I'm not too worried about it, the miracle deck will be changing drastically once m13 comes out anywayz, the galvs will be swapped for talrand anways and the noxious revivals will be swapped for the scry 4 sorcery
