Deck discussion for Mill Deck

Looks like a really solid deck. Each of the cards works well for the purpose of the deck, and it seems really affordable too. Do you have this deck, or is this something that you put together to share?

Thank you so much. It is a deck I am in the process of building. I have most of the cards and am waiting for the others to get shipped.

If you're playing a critter mill I'd suggest getting a pair of Selhoff Occultist in the deck.

I think you can lower Trep-blades down to 2 and get two of Selhoff Occultist in as replacement.

My biggest worry when I look at this deck is that it has no removal nor counter spells. If you go up against anything semi-aggro you will have no chance to mill 60 cards before they deal 20 damage.

Also, 20 lands is really really low, especially since you are running Mindcrusher and Increasing Confusion.

I have been trying to get a standard Mill working for some time and lets just say that Mill and Discard decks are probably the two hardest things to create in standard.

Feel free to roam around my decks (especially the mill ones ofc) and see if it can give you some new ideas :)

Thanks for your input, I really looked at my deck and it seems like I am very indecisive. I like the trep blades because its a lot of milling, so I want to keep those. But i reduced the high costing creatures and added lower costing ones.

Starting to look smoother for sure. My next advice would be to skip Chronic flooding. It's a great card if you want to mill your own library, but as your enemy can just skipe using the land pretty early in the game they become completely useless when they show up mid/late game.

After that change I'd cut some cards down in numbers.
Increasing confusion is a "big bang" and you only need two (as you can cast both of them twice)

Curse is very nice, but I'd cut it to 3.

As replacement I'd try to get some Unsummon or essence shatter and a pair of Cyclonic Rift.
You need something to cut the pace down to a milling-pace so you don't get overwhelmed.

I've always perefered dual-color mill decks. Right now U/B or U/G makes for very nice Mill. I'm even experimenting with U/R :P

Once I have the one I'm going for done I'll post it for ya :)
