Deck Description

The idea is to have fun with sacrificing while getting more value out of this otherwise bad trade - for example, destroy enemies by sacrificing pawns and get flying tokens out of sacrificed humans. The deck tries to overrun the opponent with one (or more) big creature(s) - be it a Ravenous Demon, or a transformed Thraben Sentry; meanwhile a big, angry, Unruly Mob keeps getting bigger and bigger very fast. Even a Demonmail Hauberk-equipped spirit token/bird token can be my alternative win-con here, if necessary.

Initially I made this deck from some leftover cards. Still, it proved be fun and effective (for casual play) despite being dirt cheap.

How to Play

Get out early aces like Unruly Mob and/or some sacrifice fodder, then start saccing to further your game while getting benefits. Later on is time for Thraben Sentry/Militia and/or Ravenous Demon/Archdemon of Greed to show up on the scene. Equip either with Demonmail Hauberk, let out an evil laugh and fly and/or trample over the opponent.

Deck discussion for Village of the Damned

Very similar to my own :)

I'd use some more creature generating spells (esp humans) as you have a lot of human killing dependant creatures such as ravenous demon. I use thraben doomsayer for high creature gen. I see you have 2x gather the townsfolk. I would even consider increasing this to 4 and dropping your lingering souls

Yeah, Doomsayer is a great card, true. Anyway, seeing as how I have so many Humans in the build and only the three Ravenous Demons require specifically human sacrifices, I find the balance to be good enough for now. Well, I haven't playtested it enough yet anyway. A very fun win with this deck was when I once used Necrobite vs. a Worldspine Wurm, then defended the next turn with a bunch of pumped up spirits I had on the board vs. the three 5/5 Wurms which had Overrun... using Rootborn Defences. The populate gave me the last two damage I need to win in one swoop the next turn. Lol.
Ah, by the way, come check out my other Innistrad W/B deck. It's pretty similar, since the two actually used to be one deck (where sadly I could not fit all my ideas):

In the end I did drop Lingering Souls after all, and Phantom General as well. I increased Seller of Songbirds to x3, as it gives me a human to sacrifice if needed, but I still get two bodies with at least one of them flying, so I can equip it with Demonmail Hauberk by sacrificing the other. Hehe :)

I'd probably use doomed traveler instead of daggerdrome and Elgaud Inquisitor and lose one tribute to hunger so you can main bone splinters giving you permanent creature removal (and the ability to move demonmail twice for one mana) Alos you should think about 4 bonds of faith as they have dual use. And finally WHERE IS YOUR INTANGIBLE VIRTUE?!!! :0 it is insanly good for any deck with tokens as your weinies can niggle at thier life while still being able to block.

You are right, Intangible Virtue is nowhere to be found. Why? It's simple, this deck is made out of cards I don't use in the my main standart one, so I am not particularly looking to improve it. Also, I was going to put the Bone Splinters main instead of Mind Rot maybe, not to mention remove Elgaud and get ?? in, but ended up not having time to think about it. Still, thanks, that was some useful input :)
