I got the idea to add [Shadow of the Grave], of course just now!This may not be something entirely new, but I tried to make this budget after creating this deck. I'm also aware this is, of course, not the first Eggs Deck.Maybeboard: [3x Topor Orb] ; 3x [Chromatic Star][Lantern of Insight] might help the overall card flow.or [Mystic Speculation]This deck was created after a neat find of [Blood Funnel], and seeing it's potential in Modern. The combo starts with the following cards:1x Riddlesmith1x Blood Funnel* any 2 drop artifact in hand* - For best results, Lullmage Mentor, creatures to keep some artifacts in play.*Aetherworks Marvel* is great in this deck, artifacts are tossed into the graveyard very quickly, and this can spin the Marvel. Alongside Perpetual Timepiece, this makes a great standing mid game. (Ivory Crane Netsuke helps preserve life total.)If you really want to, you could pitch in a singleton of either Kozilek, Butcher of Truth or Ulamog, the infinite Gyre for some more fun.Sideboarding should be pretty easy, but Bitter Ordeal can be a good lockdown Note: Darksteel Relic could be an alt against enchantment disruptionAlso, the minimum amount of lands that you should ever run in this deck is 13, but you won't be able to really play the deck at that low count.
*Mulligan if no riddle smith / archmage. **With Riddlesmith, a one land hand is a mulligan**With archmage, a 2 land hand is a mulligan, UNLESS mana rocks are playable from hand, or an obvious curve.- A hand with riddle smith and blood funnel is probably the best mathematically you'd expect to see in an opening hand, even better with the proper lands.(With 4 lands in hand with it, you should expect your draws to be artifacts)Try to play the scry lands early, if possible, to rid out any unneeded cards and plan your next play. Playing Ornithopter on turn 1 isn't the best of ideas, as Riddlesmith or Veldaken Archmage could of made that into a draw instead.Your best bet on turn 1 is to play etb tap lands, but sometimes you could argue a turn 1 blocker.Turn 2 should be either Blood Funnel, Riddlesmith, Defense grid, or some mana rock to prepare for next turn. (probably best to play Defense Grid / mana rock to prepare for counter magic.)Turn 3 is rather simple, either play Lullmage Mentor, or just start the artifact engine, after setting up the combo if you already haven't. * Unlike eggs, this deck can start the cycle again the following turn if you hit lands/creatures rather than more artifacts.Whenever your library gets low, try to acquire Laboratory Maniac, the main win con.(If you can, you should be playing more Riddlesmiths or Archmages to multiply card draw. By now, there should be more artifacts and creatures on the board.)

Out of curiosity, would Chromatic Star get the graveyard draw effect after being countered? If so, I'm going to run it in this deck.Thoughts?
