An ideal opening hand will have some mana ramp and way to cast Queen Marchesa on turn 3 or 4. During the game, you'll want to try to stay the monarch by dissuading your opponents from attacking you (Ghostly Prison, No Mercy, Darien, Kazuul, etc.) and removing permanents that are causing you difficulty. If one of your opponents becomes the monarch, take it back with your evasion creatures. If your opponents' strategy is direct damage, cast Witchbane Orb or Spirit of the Hearth to give yourself hexproof. Stay alive long enough to end the game with one of your finishers (Skyline Despot, Sheoldred + Urborg, or Queen Marchesa + Whispersilk Cloak).
