Deck Description

get out as many dragons as possible and do lots of damage using Scourge of Valkas and Utvara Hellkite. attack.

How to Play

the basic idea here is to get out alot of litttle dragons. this should help you set off scourge of valkas's special ability ( and will help wit utvara hellkite as well)

archwing dragon is there to make sure you always have a dragon to trigger SoV

ring of valkas helps give some of your dragon haste but is mainly there to help wake up a slumbering dragon if your opponent is being shy
dragon speaker shaman there to help get the dragon out even faster
same for seething song ( mainly to help get out SoV or UH
lightning bolt is there to help take care of any pesky creatures that may be fouling up early attempts to get damage through (or in a pinch a way to break open your dragon egg)

if i were going to do that i would just do a dragon roost since it would give me a steady stream intead of one dragon. but both are superfluous in this deck since every dragon in this has a purpose (even if that purpose is only that is a cheap dragon/ chump blocker dragon

Hellooooooooooooo my dragon lover friend! I'm here to brake your balls with my awesome advices in 3....2....1....
xDDDDD

Seriously now. Veeery nice deck! I think i would develop my own version. :P
Now advice time:
OUT:
- Kargan
- Imperial Hellkite (toooo high cost for searchin a dragon)
- Rite of Flame

IN:
- Seething Song
- Last one Dragonspeaker Shaman
- Some card to put counter on Slumbering? Dragon Blood maybe, or some draw Browbeat.
- Think about Fledgling Dragon, in this deck would be awesome.

I'm thinking about taking out Utvaras and Kilnmouth( *Read with Leonidas Voice* : MAAAADNESS!!!!!!!!) for the last Valkas, and some shocks et simila. 28 creatures are too much, need to rearrange other spells... :D

I would be honoured if you mind to comment my own dragons decks...

hmm ok...

agree:
kargan. (i just really like level up and want to use it some where. i can see how this is not the best place
hellkite. yep too expensive
rite of flame<seething song (for getting out valkas)
one last dragonspeaker
as for counters... maybe dragon blood. but i am more thinking of ring of valkas since i can give a creature haste if need be and it is automatic every turn.

disagree:
why fledgling dragon? i dont see me getting 7 cards into my graveyard very quickly? i would rather have 4 furnace welps.

utvaras.... utvara+valkas=the game is over pretty much no mater what. it is not central to the strategy of the over all deck (hence why i only have 2) but if i do get it the deck becomes silly quite quickly.
i can maybe see getting rid of kiln mouth but he is so good considering my guess is ill have at least 1-2 other dragons in hand anytime i play him.

as far as more direct damage... for what? i have the lightning bolts... do i need more creature removal you think? in that case i would go more with flame slash but i will have to look at how the deck balances out once i make adjustments.
aslo not sure why having 28 creatures is bad... its just a creature based deck...

bonus: what do you think about dragonmaster outcast...i know he is not the best in this instance but he has the potential to be very good.

also id be glad to look at a few of your decks!

I think that dragonmaster outcast can be good, but is 1/1 that cant do nothing: not attack not defence... so... your taste.. ok utvara is toooooo good for leaving it out... Yea i thought for oppo creature removal, or direct damage...

ive proxied and it is.... stupid good. my fiance has already said she basically wont ever play against it:D High praise! lol

the only funky thing is that i have so many dragon speaker shamans i almost always get at least one, which you would think would be a good thing.... the issue is alot of the deck hinges on the cards you are casting or that are in your hand being dragons.... (kilnmouth, utvara, scourge of valkas, crucible of fire)
so im wondering whether i want to drop him down to only 3 or 2 copies and maybe replace with either
A another low cost dragon like dragon whelp
B some higher costing dragons like shivan dragon [i like this option as he is the original dragon after all]
C dragon master outcast [don't love this idea but it COULD be good in late game, especially to activate valkas]
D ring of valkas for hastyness and +1/+1 counters

Wait just had an idea (that might be very cool) what about http://www.mtgvault.com/card/archwing-dragon/AVR/

i normally think of him as quite a sucky dragon.... but comboed with valkas.... its a guaranteed trigger of valkas's ability every turn... could be quite powerful....

Some say that mana ramp is the way when 'dealing with dragons' - if you think that sounds true, then I will suggest "Ruby Medallion" as a 4-of, and re-enter Rite of Flame.
Seething Song will make you, make Dragons like there´s no tomorrow.
Good job with choice of Dragons, and I see you are that guy... Crucibles... Rock on, man \m/

UPDATE:
after playing for a while ive noticed 2 things.
1 i often need just a little bit more mana (either to cast something or to activate enough firebreathing to kill stuff)
2 it was very very rare that i would ever get out the utvara hellkite or the kilnmouth dragon. while the kilnmouth was a little cheaper to cast i felt that the hellkite fit the theme of the deck better so im testing out replacing the 2 kilmouths with 2 more mountains and am hoping for the best
