Deck Description

a land destruction deck.
this is the first deck i ever had. it was originally built off of a pre-con deck of the same name from exodus. it has undergone some radical changes since then and there are basically 15 years of tinkering put into this deck

How to Play

get out a few smaller creatures in your first 2 turns. these will help keep you alive. once turn 3 rolls around you should be able to start destroying their land. you should be able to keep them to only one or maybe 2 mana throughout most of the game. if they do manage to get out creatures you can lightning bolt them or if they get out something very big (normally things have gone very wrong for this to happen but it does happen every once in a while) you have terminate or wreaking ball) use your big creatures to role out alot of damage since they have nothing to block!

i dont like sinkhole because the amount of time that both of my first mana are black is not high enough to warrant having it in there it is also 20 bucks per copy and i dont have the dough for that

fuck i for got about wreaking ball lol

You could put in some creature kill cards with Burning Sands. It'll let you kill a critter -> destroy a land -> deal damage :D

the issue is that if you are playing it right. they really should not have that many creatures and if they do have land out you can normally take care of it any way, normally before you get a chance to kill/ destroy their creature.

so basically burning sands adds an expensive and complicated way of possibly destroying lands IF your opponent has creatures out (not common) that you can destroy AND you already have not destroyed the land.

a good idea but too many qualifiers.

good one. maybe i would replace rain of tears and stone rain with rancid earth, pillage or choking sands for extra abilities. since it's a 2-color deck you can cast it easily. maybe replace also willow with a set of pardic miner for turn 2 delay. replace dragon hatchling with magnivore since midgame is your game. (maybe browbeat for fireball for damage/draw and great with recoup with just 5mana)
