apostles help you get out your demon ( 2 demon of deaths gate since they are easier to play if you happen to get them in your hand 1 shadowborn demon and lord of the void... because they are more difficult to cast if you draw them so im trying to keep their numbers low)darkness to help keep you alivecoercion to help vs sweepersnow the fun immortal servitude (brings back all your apostles for a second round Xathrid necromancer... whats that? when i sac my 6 apostles i get 6 2/2 zombie on top of it? yes pleaseblood artist deals six damage and gets you six life on the sacrificemortician beetle... when you sac the 6 apostles it gets 6 +1/+1 counters, and has the added bonus of coming back with an immortal servitude.

why? like half of the cards are not standard and it works awesome. i dont play standard lol
I like the synergy between Shadowborn Apostle and Demon of Death's Gate. Now, if I were versing you, and you proceeded to play multiple apostles, I'd see what's coming -- I'd be preparing for a big !@#$%^& monster. If I were smart, I'd hold a card in my hand to answer it. Blue counters, black destruction -- they're pricey, but a card like Thoughtseize to pluck said answers from their hand before playing your ace might be a wise idea - wouldn't require color splashing. Right now, your win condition is a bit vulnerable.
coercion to help and added will o wisp to help against flying creatures ( a noted weakness once i started playing the deck) switched out deathgreeter for blood artist since he also does damage!
