Prodigal Socerer & Friends shut down creature decks and deal direct damage to the opponent, escalating as your arcane army gets inexhorably bigger. Basilisk Collars & Godshead of Awe turn the Tims from cute little bits of damage to deadly creature killers, and boost your life at the same time. Blue counter spells and vapor snags slow them down while you build up for direct damage final blow using Fire Servant and direct damage red spells.

Wow, I'd never seen that card before. 5 blue mana would be a stretch, but if I added some dual lands and re-balanced towards blue, it could be awesome.
Thanks for the heads up Greg, based on your feedback and some off-line advice to add basilisk collars, I've tweaked this deck.
