Back when Scars of Mirrodin dropped, Forgemaster was essentially a Blue Black control deck featuring several artifacts and, of course, it's namesake. I've always loved the card, but I figured now, times have changed. I chose red white for the board sweep, and at the moment, Restoration Angel.
