Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

How to Play

1. Swamp, Dark Ritual, Red Lotus Petal.
2. Raven's Crime to discard Master of Cruelties.
3. Exhume to get Master of Cruelties.
4. Expedite him, drawing Gut Shot.
5. Swing, then finish them off with Gut Shot.

Cartouche of Zeal could be added to be able to get the combo on your second turn and be unblockable.

Alternative Method:
1. Ask your opponent to surrender.
2. The chances of them saying yes are the same as the chances of this working.

Deck discussion for Turn One Win Budget

Harsh Scrutiny: "Target opponent" So what you're trying to do with that card does not work.
Alternative choices include Funeral Charm as the 1st and best choice due to it's versatility. After that any of the following would work in place. Encroach, Cry of Contrition, Blackmail, Cabal Therapy, Horrifying Revelation, Skull Fracture,

Ah thanks. I saw that when I was making it, took it out, and accidentally put it back in because of scry.

Scry is pretty great

Would it be worth adding Evil Presence? That way your Funeral Charm can give you an unblockable Master at any time?

Interesting idea, but it would decrease the odds of other necessary cards being drawn, and Funeral Charm only lets you pick one. I'll put it on the sideboard, but I added Cartouche of Zeal because it's able to make him harder to block and still contribute to the combo.

Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth would be a great addition to this deck running Funeral Charm. Giving Master swampwalk and making him unblockable in the process if on the battlefield. The main issue is maybe adding protection in your sideboard from removal and shutting down your main combo piece Master of Cruelties. Best suggestion I could give would add Apostle's Blessing giving him protection from targeting. Also, Anger maybe an option getting it into the graveyard by discarding giving Master of Cruelties haste if a mountain is in play.

Apostle's Blessings is a good idea, and probably Mental Misstep too, but having cards that don't contribute to the instant win makes it harder to pull it off, so I don't think it's worth it
