Although a bit on the costly side. I like my decks cheep: under $50, or at least under $100.

It's an alright deck. It's not my play style at all, but I must say that I wouldn't want to face it with any of my own EDH decks.

I assume by "wit" you mean "win" and in that case, ok. But Gitaxian Probe lets you draw a card. a card. 1 card. And, unless you have 64 Gitaxian Probes, then I don't see how you win.

And, yes, I understand that it is legal in Legacy, but I don't really count Legacy, as very few people play in it. And, for such an old and unreliable deck, it's very expensive ($100).

And, lastly, budget is generally under $20. That's why I was saying expensive.

Also, call me stupid, but how do you win with Gitaxian Probe? You draw one card. I don't see a bouncer card.

Well, constructive is debatable. My build style is just build real decks, most budget. And, ok, I can see showing off a cool combo.

Look up a card like "Aboshan, Cephalid Emperor" and you'll see it's a: Creature - Cephalid Legend.

Not a legendary creature: they look like: Legendary Creature - Sphinx .

So, the question is does it matter if the Legend is before or after the Creature? I honestly have no idea

I've been told by friends that, to play tournament style EDH you need to be post-melenuim (after the year 2000), or have then "new art" card design. Again, please correct me! I really hope I am wrong, because there are tons of amazing cards that are pre-melenuim (before the year 2000) that I would be super happy to run!

I'm not a fan of modern, but nice deck. Btw, a sideboard can be a max of 15 cards. I'm not sure if it's different in modern, but I'm pretty sure it's still 15 max. You have 28.

Just FYI, Ordeal of Nylea and Chronicler of Heroes are out of rotation. I'm pretty sure this deck is old, but I feel like it's worth mentioning. Other than that, great deck!

Never mind, you're already running treasure cruise, maybe increase to 4?

There is no standard equivalent, but there are several cards that could work:

Zephyr Scribe - lets you draw and discard fast

Treasure Cruise - lets you delve, and draw more

Palace Familiar - 2 mana, when it dies lets you draw a card

Mystic Meditation - can be good, depends

Cut chromatic lantern, as in a 2C deck it does nothing, it's a $5 artifact that gives mana.
