A deck that uses Hydra's. Birds, Heartbeat, and Rites are for mana ramp. Ascetism to prevent death, Ceratok to give theme trample, and Ooze Flux to pump out creatures if my hyrdas are somehow disabled or to double counters on protean hydra.

Explain to me why birds of paradise is in here? it would be much cheaper to put some other mana dork in here. and there would be no real disadvantage.

No that you mention it. Arbor Elf would be much better because of Heartbeat of the Spring.
