The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

Taste my lightning f*cker.
The basic idea of the deck is to use cheap spells and replicate them using 'Training grounds' with 'Izzet Guildmage' and 'Sigil Tracer' while getting bonus's for playing them ie 'Shrine of Burning Rage', 'Wee Dragonauts' and 'Tibor and Lumia'. As these cards are put into the graveyard they build up counters on 'Quest for Ancient Secrets'. The graveyard can be harvested for cards with 'Charmbreaker Devils' and 'Izzet Cronarch' aswell so all of the spells can be replayed again and again and copied again and again.

Deck discussion for Electric Wizard

Just to be sure, you do know that the copied spells won't trigger the affect of your cards as you technically don't cast them? So Wee Dragonauts, for example, will only get +2/+0 for the original spell, not the copies. It's a common misconception among many Magic players.

Yeah, if only, it would be great if they did. The spells are cheap enough anyway so I should be able to cast a few a turn which will still give them enough of a bonus and if I've removed the creatures with said spell then they should have a free shot.

One card that may be an exception to that "rule" is Isochron Scepter's copy may count as it says "...you may cast it...", so you cast it :p

Magma Jet fkr the Scry woukd be viable here. Im not convinced of the effectiveness of the Shrine, though. It seems like youre putting a lot of faith into it, but with only two copies it seems inconsistent amd/or flat out unreliable; consider upping the total. Also, with only 20 lands and 6 cards at a 5 cc or higher, i wonder if you get stalled early on with dead cards in hand.

Hope these ideas help. Should you get a chance, please take a look at my Mind Over Matter deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=145831 ). If that doesn't suit your fancy, please see take a look at one of my ither builds by clicking my name to see the deck list.

You'd be surprised how effective only two in a deck can be and with the ability to re-use them from the graveyard with Quest for Ancient secrets, 2 is usually alright, I'll try running it with 3 and see how it plays, I think it could definitely be tweeked a little more . A lot of people run decks that don't have 'destroy target artifact' cards in their main deck as well, they're usually sideboard material. Might try Magma Jet with my other Blue/Red Galvanoth/Delver/Scry deck.
