Timbermare is pretty awesome, really helps for the last push for damage.
yeah but what i love is that your never gunna pay the echo cost unless your opponent has some fat creatures and you need to block because otherwise your just paying mana for more damage with timbermare
You think about Scythe Tiger? It's got shroud and you sac a forest for it, but it's a 3/2 anti kill spell one drop.
i put him in the sideboard as a 2 of because there are lotsof things you want to do to pump and rancor your creatures so the shroud might not work out as well but again it is still a 3/2 for 1

Honestly, the deck is fun as hell. And I love any fun deck. It works on multiple levels, but the one thing that bothers me is the 2 leatherback baloths and the kalonian tuskers. In m opinion, get rid of the tuskers for garruk's Companion, because trample makes every mono green deck better. And I'm not sure what you would get rid of it, but you should try and get 3-4 leatherback baloths, it's just so much of a powerhouse that can win games single-handedly.
