In hopes of getting lucky with a first turn Bloodchief Ascension, you then use various small burns mixed with control to activate the enchantment, then it's only a matter of getting off the trap. Counter's generally saved for control of the deck objective. It doesn't get old.

Had this deck myself, too slow normally. It takes too long to set up and you can be killed sometimes waiting for either the trap or ascension
