All of the creatures have the potential to become incredibly large threats very quickly. Combine this with Hexproof , undying and spellskite and they become quite difficult to remove. The mana ramp moves things along at quite a nice pace and if they don't immediately stop primeval titan, you will have access to stupid amounts of mana which will allow you to fully utilise Increasing Savagery and Primordial Hydra. However, both of these cards work just as well without access to large amounts of mana so it provides a lot of flexibility.
