Deck Description

I had this idea today. I wonder if it could work or not in the competitive scene for modern. Feel free to leave a comment. Tell me what you think.

Deck discussion for Sultai vengvine

I'm a huge fan of the Bridge Vine Strategy in modern. Right now I feel that the standard black red version is the most competitive. Red gives you access to one mana looters like Faithless looting and insolent neonate which are crucial to having early Vengevines or Bridges. Also goblin bushwacker can push through some wins against graveyard hate and will get through more damage faster than a molderhulk. Filling your graveyard for two mana with strategic planning and shaman as opposed to one mana is a significant difference given the pace of modern right now. This list will be fun for fnm but feels slower than the red black version. Keep up the good brewing

That may be true. I like to brew deck that are similar strategies as main stream decks but in a way that is different... I’m not sure how to explain it. Another example I have is this deck (I’ll post the link below), it’s a Mardu Death’s Shadow deck with similar aspects to the mainstream grixis version but feels different and is still fun and successful in my trials.
