My current version of a fairly typical Legacy Izzet Counter-Burn deck that focus around cascading instant and sorcery effects for strong combos. Kiln Fiend, Dragonauts, and Gelectrode are staples for this type of deck, I decided to go with Spellblades for extra draw instead of some of the other counter-generating options. Fling acts as my "Fireball" burn spell, and decided only running 2 of them should be efficient enough to not completely deplete my attacking force. I'm main-decking Ponders for now, until I get my hands on some Gitaxin Probes to see just how powerful they really might be. Leyline of Punishment is there to sideboard in against any decks with life gain, Deprives for extra or late game counters, and Psychic Barriers for creature-heavy decks. Any other suggestions are welcome. I initially decided against Pyromancer Ascension because I think it needs to focus on just the spells to be successful (eg not to include it in a deck where the focus is pumping these creatures, and instead on spell heavy call to mind decks)
