Deck discussion for Gruul Superfriends

I'm sorry, but you should replace Tibalt with Something else. He's not a good planeswalker.

Ok, after seeing this down voted, I feel like I should explain my self. His +1, is a cycle ability, which red already has plenty of. His -4, is damage to the opponent from the amount of cards in their hands, which won't really help because when they see tibalt enter the field, they are going to start playing things as much as they can before you use his +1 3 times so he can survive it. His -6 is his only good ability, but it takes 5 turns of using is +1 to reach the point where you can pop that and have him live, but if your playing red, chances are they won't have creatures to block with at that point. And flavor wise, it doesn't match him. He's a devil intent on causing pain. what does stealing your opponents creatures for a turn have to do with that? Tibalt over all, IMO, feels like a walker that they put into the set just so they could fill their last Mythic slot for the release.

I guess for the flavour of the deck, he's the only other standard red planeswalker to put in. As pointed out downthread, vexing devil would be a nice addition, but it all depends on what the deckbuilder wants to do for fun.

I feel Tibalt is not so good but he fits the early curve slot in the gruul scheme and his ultimate pays off. His +1 keeps players rushing to play cards just so they wont discard them and the fact that he comes early and most players have midrange decks allows you to get them a couple of times. Also since he is ignored, people dont see him as a threat so they dont attack him until its too late. Ultimating Domri and Tibalt is the goal

Vexing devils would work well here.
