Deck Description

My first vampire deck since returning to MTG. I played the hell out of my old Sengir deck when I started in this game, and now with red vampires it's just easier to pump out effective creatures that support each other with abilities. Again, this deck isn't standard legal, but is designed to have fun just playing with friends.

How to Play

It's a fairly self-explanatory deck. Just summon your vampires, pump them up, and raise a little hell. Bloodline Keeper allows you to produce vampires each turn when it doesn't attack, which just adds to the mayhem. Of course, any and all suggestions are very welcome. Harvest Pyre is the likeliest kill card, especially if your opponent has been keeping your play area clear of vampires.

Deck discussion for Boiling Blood

I would strongly consider tragic slip in place of harvest pyre, or even in addition to it. Also stormkirk captain.

Yeah, I didn't even notice that Harvest Pyre only damages creatures and not players until after I'd put the deck together, so it's not quite as effective as I'd originally thought. And yes, I've been trying to get Stromkirk Captain for a while now. Thanks for the advice!

dark favor over mark of vampire and sinister possession and crippling blight over stab wound. Stab wound is awesome though. more gruesome deformity it is not used enough.

I remember the good old days of abusing the hell out of intimidation. It made mono black decks so powerful against most things. Thanks for the advice!
