I still think it'd be too slow. Or at least everything after the lich. No finisher either since you really have no way to protect anything of yours from removal.

It just means a R/W colored deck.
I would suggest Primordial Hydra over the Protean Hydra. It is just better in every way. Otherwise i don't know allies to well but it seems like a solid, non pricey deck to make.
