Deck Description

Cheap and overpowered dragon deck. Use Dragonspeaker Shaman and ramping to make dragons easier to summon, then Crimson Mage and Reckless Charge to give them haste.. Also threw in some land destruction and direct damage to set back the opponent while you build up.

Deck discussion for Hellkite Ascension

Dude, you have to incorporate Warstorm Surge into this deck.

Really good call, definitely going to work that in.

Found another good card.

You should remove one Crucible of Fire and add in one Rage Reflection.

Double Strike would be unstoppable on your dragons.

In addition, the Shivan Hellkite should be replaced by the Knollspine Dragon.

His ability is highly useful since you will be low on cards most of the time (lots of Geosurges will empty your hand quickly).

I think you should remove the Bloodthorn Taunter and the two Battle Ramparts and add one copy of the Crimson Mage and two copies of Reckless Charge. These changes will drastically increase your damage output throughout all stages of the game. It essentially makes all your smaller creatures dangerous, not just your dragons.

Also, you should remove Anger to add Demonfire. It would be easy to trigger the Hellbent clause (because of Seething Song) and the added direct damage will turn the tide of many games when you need it most. Besides, if you add the Crimson Mage and the Reckless Charge spells, it will be easy to haste your creatures when needed.

I also think you should remove the Mordant Dragon and the Furyborn Hellkite to add another Balefire Dragon and another Hellkite Charger. The Furyborn Hellkite is simply too slow, as he must wait a turn to attack with a power of 12. As for the Mordant Dragon, the Balefire Dragon pretty much does his job even better.
