Deck Description

All this is is an EDHbased around the old Niv-Mezzit. I guess the new one could be the commander too, but I think the old one is better.

Deck discussion for Niv-Mezzit EDH

Props on not including any infinite combos.

Enter the infinite is extremely risky without any ways to shuffle your library or discard your hand. It MIGHT kill a target or two if Niv is in play when it resolves but it won't kill everyone and once it's cast, you're on a two turn limit with the main focus of your deck being gone since you can't draw.

You definitely could use more top manipulation with the miracles and to a lesser extent, Galvanoth. If they aren't the first card you draw, they become very expensive.

With all of those in mind, Scroll Rack would be the best suggestion. You can put your entire hand back into your library without "drawing" a card so as to not lose with Enter the Infinite while also setting up your next draws with no risk or just put the miracles or any other spells on top for galvanoth. You could even copy enter the infinite and respond by scroll racking before the second resolves to draw your whole deck twice.

Another possible suggestion would be Patron of the Moon. If you somehow didn't kill everyone after drawing your library, you can drop all the lands in for cheap and then top in the rest. That might not be worthwhile though since there is otherwise a shortage of draw in the deck.

With the current set up of the deck, Tibor and Lumia might be a better option as general. They have more interaction with the heavy spell count of the deck and won't draw nearly as much blind hate as Niv Mizzet does.
