Help with my black/blue alara deck

I just started playing magic again after several years. I never really played anything other than casual. I need some help and to know what you guys think about my deck. I wanted to start playing type 2.

I don't quite know the rules of type 2. I am just looking for things i should add and remove. How many cards should i have? how many spells? how many creatures?
