hey man, i used to run a milling deck too(where opponent puts top cards of library in graveyard blah blah). and i haf to tell u urs wont last long against many competitors. the milling potential is just next to nil.
1)consistency. this is magic. put 4x of each card instead of 3.
2)basis of deck. ur deck should haf a strong basis. would u wanna base it on merfolk aggro or milling? cos u put in merrow reejerey, ink dissolver and drowner of secrets. whne u dun haf many merfolks.
3)use only cards that will benefit most and have the most potential to make ur deck succeed.

try these pointers out. see for urself ur deck will improve(or at least last longer in matches) =)

Hes right you know... As always the Dude abides.

You tried to fit two decks into one. Pick either Blue Aggro/Control or Blue/Black Milling.

When you decide the theme of the deck, you have to realize that you are not going to be putting more than 10 or 15 different spell cards into it.

When deciding how many of a card to put in your deck, use these criteria:

Putting in 4x copy of a card: You want to draw it in your opening hand and/or first couple rounds. Getting two or three is a good thing and doesnt hurt.

Putting in 3x copy of a card: Youre looking for one of these to show up in every game, but not necessarily needing more than one. If you do draw
two it wont hurt you that bad and could prove useful.

Putting in 2x copy of a card: You want this card to draw and be used as a game finisher. Usually these cards are part of a killer combo, or have a high mana cost and high threat (ie. Bomb).

Putting in 1x copy of a card: You dont really need these, but tossing in 1 of something very useful to a majority of your cards can be a very pleasant strategy. Example: 1x Loxodon Warhammer in an Aggro Deck.

Basically a good deck doesnt have a whole lot of variety and focuses more on getting the cards that are best for the job and stacking the deck with lots of the same.

Heres an example of a good steady Aggro Deck:

23-25 Lands

20 Creatures:
4x 1mana creep (Llanowar Elves, Birds of Paradise, Figure of Destiny)
4x 2mana creep (Goblin Deathraiders, Rip-Clan Crasher, Sigiled Paladin)
4x 3mana creep (Boggart Ram-Gang, Woolly Thoctar, Countryside Crusher)
4x special creep (Tidehollow Sculler, Ranger of Eos, Reveillark)
2x Game-Finisher (Divinity of Hate, Vigor, Godsire, Broodmate Dragon)
2x Game-Finisher (Deus of Calamity, Hellkite Overlord, Cloudthresher)

15 Spells:
4x 1mana spells of goodness (Giant Growth, Thoughtseize, Ponder)
4x Board removal spells (Firespout, Pyroclasm, Hurricane, Infest)
4x Singular Removal Spells (Eyeblight's Ending, Lash Out, Magma Spray, Deathtouch, Incenerate, Flame Javelin, Oblivion Ring, Condemn)
2x Game Finisher Spells (Overrun, (5) Commands, (5) Ultimateums)
1x For something else like a Loxodon Warhammer

If you keep it simple, chances are your deck will be cheaper and more successful against the field. Its easy to see how 50 spells could work SOOOO GOOD together and the power atn hand. But remember its the simple designs of the 60 card decks that vanquish other players.

If you want to get started on a really great deck, spend some time and identify 20 or so of the best creatures that stand out from the rest and build a deck around a few of them.

Examples: Shriekmaw, Reveillark, Ranger of Eos, Figure of Destiny, Woolly Thoctar, Tidehollow Sculler, Boggart Ram-Gang, Cloudthresher, Mistbind Clique, Chameleon Colossus, Countryside Crusher etc.... etc....

Goodluck!

I see your running alot of merfolk so why not try merrow commerce it should make your deck a little faster. because you can untap your merfolks at the end of your turn and use them again on the opponent's turn.
