Trouble against black
So I run a elemental burn deck. Which so far so good. but recently I've run into an issue against my friend because of the new cards.
for example, he has an curse enchantment he often pulls that gives everything a -1/-1 meaning I can't use most of my burn elements because most of them are 5/1 or 3/1 or something.
Is there any good counter to this? any enchantments or anything I can use, or elements I should have that work well against mono black vamps?

Red can't destroy enchantments. You can use something colorless like
Nevinyrral's Disk
Oblivion Stone
Both do a fine job of sweeping the board. An other option is running a second color that can destroy enchantments like white or green.
The best solution would be to create a faster deck. The Curse you are talking about is 5 mana. Red decks are at their best in the first 4 turns of the game and become a lot worse after.
The more direct burn you put in your deck the less you'll care about curses. Lightning Bolt, fireblast, Rift Bolt, Chain Lightning, Magma Jet, Incinerate etc...

I think I mostly got a bad hand, I only ended up getting 1 instant. I do have a fair amount of instants, I only have a handful of creatures. but I did put in some enchantments to try to avoid these things like the +3/+3 till end of turn, for my elements to try to combo with, I suppose I should replace them with more sorcery/instants.

Witchbane orb maybe a needed pickup if you're having trouble wit dat. Methinks if you like elementals, you do what I do and add :manag: then buy Sangrite Surge and Colossal Might. I personally love giving my elementals +4/+2 and trample or doublestrike, it really makes your attacks potent as fusk. If you add green you can add those spells, some green enchant killers and maybe mana gen from llannowar elves and birds of paradise.
