Myrsmith
So, someone posted a deck based around Myrsmith, and putting out lots of tokens with it. The claim was that you could put out as many tokens as you had mama, by only casting a single artifact. I wasn't sure if you could do that, or if you were limited to one use of the ability per artifact that you cast.
to the wording on Myrs.ith says that when you cast an artifact you may pay 1 and put in a token. Does that mean you can do it as many times as you want per artifact? Please help, I am thoroughly confused.

That's what I thought. Also, putting the token in play doesn't count as casting an artifact spell, correct?

no you arnt casting a spell a spell has to enter then stack and you are creating a token not casting, its similar to effects that say to put something into play, those arnt being cast.
