Blue Prison Development

Alright, so here's my idea for a magic deck. The goal is to lock down your opponent and disable him until you get Jace Beleren out and demolish his deck via milling. There are many weaknesses and kinks to work out, but that's why I would love it if you could help me out here. Thanks in advance.

THE STRATEGY
Play Douse, Sleight of Mind it to whatever color your opponent is playing, and play Arcane Laboratory. Use this to counter the one spell (thanks to the Laboratory) your opponent plays. Since you can only play one spell per turn, you'll have a lot of excess mana, hence the Chimeric Staffs can become very powerful as blockers until you can get rid of his/her library or kill the opponent with the staff.
