About Heroic and Overload
So, as I understand it, in order for the Heroic effect, new for Theros, to trigger, the creature needs to be the target of a sucessfullly resolved instant or sorcery spell cast by it's controller.
What about overload? If I use, for an example Teleportal, and overload it, will all of my Heroic creatures triggered abilities activate, or does it no longer target my creatures, but rather just swipe them, the same way a boardwhipe can destroy a creature that can't be targeted by a removal spell?

- A spell doesn't have to resolve to trigger Heroic, when you cast a spell that requires a target it targets upon casting before that spell resolves. This is when Heroic triggers. whether that spell resolves or not has no further impact on the heroic trigger resolving or not.
- Overload does not target!! = has no effect
