So I ran across someone describing an interesting format the other day. Basically, it's a "Build your own standard" concept, so choose one core set and two expansions and work with that. He modified it to be "Pick your favorite standard", and from there we built up a few decks and went on. I chose M13+Innistrad+Return to Ravnica, because I'm that new to Magic, and those are the cards I'm the most familiar with, but other decks were M12+Mirrodin Besieged+Innistrad, and M10+Alara+Zendikar block.

So, what is the most interesting complete standard that you recall? And for what reason? I'd love to know.
