Deck discussion for Goblin Overload

goblin war strike to replace lava spike

something to bring you up to 60?

raging goblins maybe
or rise of the hobgoblins to give you an outlet for mana later in the game

http://www.mtgvault.com/card/chancellor-of-the-forge/NPH/ is also a good mana dump if you happen to make it to late game while also giving you something if you start out with him in your hand

chain lightning could be dangerous if you play it while you have krenko and no chieftain out then a red deck would be able to kill him. unlikely but seems like it would make more sense to just put in a lightning bolt (added bonus of it being an instant)

Had considered a few, thanks for the ideas though, building another as well, but I just added Goblin Warchief to complete it!

The chain is a risk, but the added 3 damage seemed logical, depends on what decks I encounter, I could sideboard it...good thought

the problem though is that you only get the extra 3 if
A. they are playing a red deck
B. they decide to pay 2 red to do 3 damage to one of your creatures or you
C. after they do that you still have 2 untapped red mana to redirect it again

over all the amount of times that this will come into effect are very infrequently and when it does it will probably result in best case scenario you losing 3 life, worst case scenario they kill your krenko which is the main killer in this deck.

you should really just change it to lightning bolt and be done with it

p.s. it is also super expensive to buy because you can probably use it in combos that involve targeting your own creatures.
