The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

It's all around Grand Architect and Pili-Pala's infinite mana combo. It's then quite easy to cast Blue Sun's Zenith to control the game. Cast Laboratory Maniac. Draw all your deck. You won.

There're some cards with transmutation that make you able to find Blue Sun's Zenith, Laboratory Maniac, Grand Architect or even Drift of Phantasms (if there's any good reason to get it at that price).

You're backed up with a good set of counter spells (i.e. Mana Leak, Remand, Judge's Familiar and Muddle the Mixture), and low cost but efficient creatures (most of them fly) that can get quite big with Runechanter's Pike. Drift of Phantasms can save your ass for a while if you're in trouble (despite it's quite more useful for speeding things up doing a transmutation).

Easy draws are served by low cost spells as Cerulean Wisps or Gitaxian Probe, which speeds up assembling the combo.

Elixir of Immortality is there in case you screw up or something bad happens and you need to get some spells back.

This deck should be valid for Modern format.

How to Play

Get Grand Architect and Pili-Pala on the battlefield as fast as you can. Get Blue Sun's Zenith and Laboratory Manic to win. It can get you between 3 and 6 turns to get your combo ready.

Deck discussion for Architect's amok

You should put in another blue sun's zenith so you can cast infinite spells to kill even more people (everyone) in multiplayer.

You can cast it multiple times, as it goes back to the deck and you have some other ways to draw it again. Elixir of Immortality helps you get your deck back when you run out of cards to draw.

Daze is not legal in Modern. Promo prints of old cards do not make them legal in other formats.

Yep, I've missed that. Any other cards that make this non-compilant?

Or big blue creatures like Krakens and Leviathans.

What about Pact of Negation for a transmutable counterspell; granted you can only tutor it as a sorcery, but a singleton shouldn't hurt anything.

Don't really get what you mean. By Pact of Negation you mean http://magiccards.info/fut/en/42.html? It has no transmutation ability, and I don't see how can it work here.

Tolaria West can fetch Pact of Negation.

Changed main win condition to Laboratory Maniac as it works better than grapeshot here. Also did some changes to (try to) fit for Modern.
