Deck discussion for Standard Izzet Burn

Looks pretty solid. I ran an izzet flashback for standard, so I'll try to help out the best I can.

For one thing, Nivmagus is too freaking good. It's just crazy. Had multiple 5 or less turn wins with Nivmagus. If that's the route you want to run with, and you want to make him the feature of the deck, here's the strategy I'd go with--more instants and sorceries. The deck would basically be aggro, so I'd for sure keep the electromancers and blistercoils, but niv-mizzet and the hypersonic probably wouldn't get out usually. For instants and sorceries, I suggest geistflame and silent departure while they're still in standard. Both are great one drops and both have flashback, meaning you can kill their one-drop and then flash it back to trigger nivmagus' ability. Bouncing is a great strat to go with as well, since all you need is a few turns to deal some heavy damage with nivmagus. If you're seriiously thinking of going aggro izzet, stromkirk noble and vexing devil are also great cards.

Now, if you're going for a more creature-based late-game izzet deck, here's what I'd do to modify this. I'd run a full playset of teleportals, cause that's where your big hits come from. Epic experiment might not be a bad idea either, but idk if you want it in this one since it doesn't seem there are too many instants or sorceries. On the other hand, Nivix copying it would be pretty sweet. Dynacharge might also be fun when you combine it with electrickery. Also, just for the burn, I'd toss in some pillars of flame.

As for your card selection, I'm not sure why you're playing a full playset of the staticaster. The most you're doing is 4 damage to their staple, which could very well have toughness quite a bit greater than 4. Chemisters good for late game, but it would just take him so darn long to get out there, you may have other concerns once you draw him. Nivix might also be better for a more instant/sorcery oriented deck, but i could see him copying the teleportal and doing alright. Hypersonic is a good card, but since almost all of your cards are instants I don't think it offers much strategic to this deck.

Those are all just my opinions. If the deck works for you where it's at, roll with it--but those are just a few creative possibilities for what direction to take the deck. I'm working on a rakdos/simic/golgari/undying deck right now that I call "Attack of the Demon Merzombies." You obviously know how to build a deck well, and I'm looking for ways to improve it, so if you wanna lend a hand, that'd be great!

Good luck!

Thank you guys so much for your input! I will definitely think about adding enchantments, and I see what you're saying about the staticasters and everything. I'm going to tinker with this deck some more and utilize some of the things you both mentioned and see how it fares. Check back again soon and tell me what you think, thanks again!
