What started as a combo deck based around Spine of Ish Sah and Throne of Geth has, as promised, evolved into a legitimate mono-blue artifact deck. I love this deck, even if it's not tournament quality and loses to most aggro decks, its still a lot of fun to play. Took it to FNM recently, lost a few games very quickly but annoyed people with how long the others lasted; overall, people seemed to like this deck a lot, I make a lot of interesting plays, not something you see every day (table A: all caw-blades. table B: my blightsteel cloned 4 times). I do need to get Argent Sphinx for this deck, and the sideboard is relatively nonexistent. Two of the cards there I definitely want to work into the main deck: Myr Superion and Stoic Rebuttal. I'm just not sure the worth of the Myr or what I would remove for the Rebuttal. We'll see.

If you're going to run it at all, I'd definitely run Tinker over Shape Anew. That way you get what you want.. not like an Everflowing Chalice on 0.

I absolutely love the throne of Geth / Spine combo. I have it in a red deck believe it or not lol I also have a nice controlling blue deck running grand architect. If you really want the benefit of him you should run more 1 drops. Not better feeling than going: Turn 1 - 1 drop blue creature (Vedalkan Certarch / Cosi Trikster) Turn 2 - Augury Owl Turn 3 - GrandArchitect - then tap all 3 and play Steel Hellkite - If your opponent hasn't got an answer right then they usually have to sweep. In your deck you run a few of my favourite mtg cards of all time: Tinker, Master Transmuter, Tezzeret the Seeker, Venser the Sojourner and Augury Owl. It's hard for me not to like this deck lol
Rebuilding this deck now that I have some good cards, gonna make a decent artifact deck out of it. Running the pure spine combo was fun for a while, I laughed at all my friends but I'd like to start winning some games :P Still, I'll never forget destroying 30+ lands in a 3-way match before finally losing to a lightning bolt.
