Please someone. ive run out of deck ideas. any suggestions? If your looking for something new to build try looking at the Lorwyn-Shadowmoor tribes, they always seem to provide plenty of options. Also, just try sifting through cards from the recent sets, I designed my last deck after reading Intimidation Bolt.

try rage aginst the machine, 4 enrage extractors, 4 phyrex metamorphs, 4 slash panthers, 4 molten steel dragons, this is where i like to mix it up with nors annex, procelan knights, tez gambit, birthing pods, acts of aggression and any other phyrexian cards with maybe a anvil of sembalace, prototype portal mirror works and a couple pristean tailsmans, nothing like doing 18 + damage on turn 4 or 5
Or sift through the oldest sets. I just made a cool Rhystic deck (Deck of Dreams) after looking at all the Prophecy cards. Remember to keep it cheap ($10-$15, $20 if you're really into it) and if you're really just don't have any ideas, go to a Tournament or some other social gathering. Look at other people's decks. Brainstorm. Good luck!

my friend made the best snake deck, using Lorescale Coatl as its beast, tons of draw power, lots of control lots of flying, vigilance and shroud, tuff as nails and once he thru in Reminisce he no longer had to worry about decking himself, which was originally a big problem
hive mind deck sounds like fun especially if you can put out an "epic" spell from kamigawa block. the blue oneand then make sure you have nothing your opponents can use in your deck. one on one fun for sure.

Grapplehanger, that is some of the best advice ever, thank you for putting it out there: if you are going to actually build the deck keep it cheap. There tends to be a lot of snobbery towards people that build decks out of the cards they have which is why none of "my" decks are actual decks I own but are just ideas.
most of mine on this site r theoretical too, i have too many ideas and this place lets me invision them, then i print that shit on magiccards.info and test shit out before i go wasting my money on a deck that doesn't pull right im glad to see im not the only one, but, Grapplehanger, i don't care about how much a deck costs, so long as it works the way it should(hence the testing prior)

on william's suggestion, i've never, ever seen a snake deck befopre looking at urs... so i guess ill give it a try.

friends of mine and i r working on decks themed after countries -Russian Roullette: is an aggro red coinflip deck -The Beast in the Middle East: is gonna be a suicide bomber deck(no offence meant to any muslism and/or radical extremists) -Team America: is gonna be RWU with red as the army, white as the airforce, blue as the navy, and the multicoloured cards will be special ops and shit, plus it has a sick RWU tac-nuke combo(Barren Glory, Venser the Sojourner's +2 ability, and Appocalypse) -The Peace Keeper: is a Canadian inspired deck that sits back and lets everyone else do the fighting, while u smite and strengthen all sides(meant for multiplayer, and although it doesnt win too often, it makes things so much more fun) so if u can think of a country, build it, and send me the link pls, i'd be super down to order the cards for it and play it against my friends
Yeah the japs live behind closed doors so you would never know what is goin on until it just all happens in one go so build a deck that can kill in a single attack
A Deck i have been struggling with for a long time and just can't even make a half good version of is a dwarf tribal. i got a fair few dwarf cards now but very few are any good which makes it hard to make a deck around them but it might be a challenge
Ok, yes i have some ideas. I really hope you can take a look at my decks and seriously help me make them better that would be most appreciated, especially my Sheoldred deck and my godhead of awe deck and my elf infestation deck. I think my indestructable deck and primal rage deck is pretty good. Now for some ideas ive had recently partly involving some combos. 1. Stuffy Doll - Pariah - Force of Nature's and dont bother with the Force of natures upkeep just send to the stuffy doll / opponent I thought this would be a pretty funny way to win if i could build the deck ??? 2. Grid Monitor - Chromeshell Crab - Donate, artifact swapping deck ?? dont know if you have one ?? 3. Kiln Fiend - Brute Force - Double Cleave 10/5 double striking deck and throw is assault strobe ?? 4. Deus of Calamity - Runes of Deus - acidic slime / i have a deck called double bubble similar but needs alot of work on it so you could help me alot 5. I also quite like the idea of Vengeful Pharoh / Infernal Genesis Hope to hear from you with some deck ideas dude
When Im running dry of ideas, I actually tend to make "Anti" decks. Forinstance: A friend of mine had been playing $3 infect for awhile and I was sick of playing against it. Thus, I made my Chisei Anti-Infect deck which absolutely gutted his whole deck and made him make new ones. Same thing with colors. One of my friends only plays green ever, so I made a Hate-On Green deck that obliterated it. Forcing others to change their decks like that can often inspire new decks as well.
hey I think this is some of the best advice on here I first started playing when it was 4th and ice age out played a while and quit for a long time made new friends that play dusted of the old cards and started playin again at first be was way better than me now I even suprise my self sometimes and it all starts with your first hate on deck build lol hey take a look at some of my decks when you get a chance I would appreciate any light you can shed

ok i got a semi challenge. a kudultha deck where the main deck highest converted mana cost can't be higher then 1 land, sideboard can have more then 1 mana cost. check i have one titled glass cannon, just looking to see a veriation of it

that's not useless. it grants hellbent, which might not matter much but makes it enough to not be the worst.
