The combined power of Simic and Golgari makes it possible to add a huge bunch of counters to your creatures.Did one of your important creatures like Vorel of the Hull Clade, Varolz the Scar-Striped, Corpsejack Menace, Lotleth Troll (usually you can regenerate the troll) or Master Biomancet die? Well, thanks to the Wildwood Rebirth you can get them back. You will be able to duplicate your counters in two ways thanks to Vorel and Corpsejack, with the Biomancer you can make your evolve creatures evolve a bit more and with Varolz you can make some creatures already with scavenge cheaper and make the other creatures without scavenge in your graveyard useable.
It ain't too hard to play it. You will be able to defend with most of your creatures as it won't do too much harm thanks to the scavenge ability and Varolz (if he is out).I would recommend to save your important creatures as long as you can (not counting Lotleth Troll if you can regenerate it).Much about this deck is about situations like "am I able to sacrifice Deadbridge Goliath for defence and then scavenge it and add those counters to Elusive Krasis and duplicate those counters with Vorel". As I said the deck itself ain't too hard but you might have to train "seeing into the future/predict". The hand I recommend (would be one of the better) to start with is:*Guildgate*Land (Prefered different from the other)*Land (Prefered different from the other)*Slitherhead*Lotleth Troll*Dreg Mangler*Vorel/Varolz (Depending on the mana you got, 1 extra mana of any sort works too)I would say as long as you got at least 3 mana and 2 creatures that is prefered for defence you usually do fine.Hope you all like it and feel free to comment if you see anything I could do better (in your opinion). If I like the change I might do it :)
