A budget legacy black Pox deck. Mono-colored since I don't want to drop a ton of money to get the legacy dual lands, and this version of Pox focuses on hand disruption as the wincon, using cards like The Rack and Shrieking Affliction for damage while keeping the opponent's options low. Smallpox is the MVP of the deck, and I normally play it only when the opponent has a creature and I don't. Having plenty of lands to toss for Raven's Crime and Syphon Life is good, especially when I can use Dakmor Salvage to ensure that I can use those Retrace abilities to their fullest. Haunted Plate Mail isn't a creature most of the time, so it dodges my own sacrifice effects. Neither Spirit keeps coming back, and is a good card to chuck when playing Smallpox as it will enter the battlefield the next turn. Tombstalker is a good finisher once the opponent has no cards in hand and you feel safe playing it, often only for 2 mana. Hope you enjoyed my deck, and I'm always open to any feedback!
