For lifegain, and it works well enchanted with Herald of Torment
Looks pretty good to me, so why ask for help?
I'm having issues with the burn matchup so I'm looking into that now. Vampire Nighthawk might be a better choice over Herald of Torment in that case, but otherwise, this deck is doing fine.
Good call. The extra life gain should upset the burn deck's plan. Other options for you to consider:Gift of Orzhova - an aura that grants +1/+1; flying; and lifelink. Vampiric Link / Spirit Link - one mana aura that has a life gain ability. This is worded differently to lifelink, so it stacks with itself and any other life gain effect. Also, if you put the Link on your opponent's creature, you gain the life, not your opponent. Tainted Strike - {B} instant that gives +1/+0 and infect. Swing with a creature with 9 power, then if unblocked, play this and instantly win. Phyresis - 2 mana aura that grants infect. Similar to Tainted Strike, except it allows you to swing for less damage over a few more turns (Tainted Strike is a 1 time effect).
Vampiric Link/Spirit Link would be most useful enchanting on the burn matchup's creatures. Gift of Orzhova would be too slow I think. Enchanting it turn three on Seeker of the Way still loses to a Lightning Bolt. Tainted Strike requires enchanting Abyssal Persecutor with Herald of Torment and this can only be pulled off turn 6 at earliest for the win. Phyresis takes away focus from the deck, so I don't think I will add it either. Thanks for the suggestions!
