It IS black but it's also a white hybrid. It's technically considered a white creature and if he's using a mono-black general then it cannot be used.
Glare of Subdual would make a great main-board card.
Essence Scatter is the only thing keeping this deck non-standard. Take out 3 of them and max out on mana leaks + spell pierce.
Earthquake!!! Stuffy Doll + Pariah (or Pariah's shield) + Earthquake for 7 = GG.

Protip: Tournament Quality decks hardly ever run 1-ofs. Consistancy is key in most every single deck so try to max out on key cards. My number one rule, if it's not worth running 2 of, it's not worth running at all. The only exclusions are SOBM + SOFF with Stoneforge.
+ Blightsteels? There's absolutely no win condition....
Sword of Body and Mind combos really well with Bonehoard. I've constantly lost to it.
Painters Servant + Oona is a great combo to keep plenty of chump blockers while you set up your combo.
Pro decks aren't 75 cards lol.
Unnatural Predation on the Quillspike would be awesome...
Demonic Tutor's limited to 1 I believe unless this is just a casual deck.

Take out Gobby grenade, it's the one think keeping you from calling this deck standard legal.
-4 Ornithopters +4 Chimeric mass. Chimeric mass is really underrated. It can be an artifact to sac off to Kuldotha Rebirth or it could function as a creature. Possibly throw in Reverberates or Devastating Summons?
You've got too many 1-ofs and also too many bad cards in general. Sure people say magic can be won with any cards and it can...but you've got a way better chance if you go for the good ones. A good start would be to look into obtaining a few Vampire Nighthawks, Gatekeepers of Malikar, then loading the deck with low cost artifacts to further make great uncommons better!
