Deck Description

A planeswalker driven control shell aimed at the aggro and midrange matchups. Gobbs of mass card draw is angled to take advantage of the power of grandmaster to put away an opponent toying in the control direction, but not committing (like dark jeskai).
The sideboard holds answers for control's tough questions like opposing control strategies (tutelage), morph loops (infinite obliteration), and quick token builds (plague).

How to Play

Game one, you've no real dedicated win-con other than an unopposed sorin, vent, or un-needed wastes, but as a result, you're without a dead draw in the early stages which is very strong. Play for the long game and save the ceiling spells for any possible recursive threats. Know that it's easy to make it to 6 and soulfire-buyback horribly awry for the den protector loop as they habitually wait till they can cast-and-flip to start the real train, giving you time to set up.

Sb
Aggro
-out: ob, 5 mana sweeps, treasure cruise, and dragonlords prerogative
- in:disregard, reproach, and possibly plague
Pretty simple here, take out the overly expensive and bring in more removal. On the plus, reproach gives you 4 life with soulfire grandmaster out. Eat your heart out cleric.

Midrange/eldrazi ramp
- out: horribly awry, clash, and an anticipate
-in: infinite obliteration, stroke
I like the proactive plan of using obliteration to take down their real threats once you know of them instead of waitingfor awry to work.

Control
-out: languish, anticipate, cut
-in: tutelage, stroke
Cut deads for threats. Easy.

Looks very interesting! Have you been having success in the standard of today?! I know that a control build kicked my butt the other night haha. Check out my Jeskai build if you could.
