Play early threats to feign traditional red decks while depleting their removal (often even beating and ill-prepared opponent in the process) and follow up by slamming one of the resilient threats like flamewake or ashcloud. You also have the ability to grind out like no other red deck with Abbott and shaman should the need arise. Sideboarding generally comes to either bringing in spells to disrupt their blocking plans or spells to out-grind what the opponent is going to do. As a result, this is one of the few red decks that I've played with that gets better after board.
